The Riverside Auction House will hold its monthly auction on February 7, 2009, starting 1 p.m. in the Auction Hall on the 4th floor of the River City Shopping Complex, Charoen Krung 24.
Among 200 lots are ceramics, blue & white porcelains, monochromes and polychromes from the Far East; Thai and Khmer grazed ceramics and potteries; antique bronze and silver objects of Southeast Asia; Chinese and Burmese woodcarving as well as collectible European objects d’art.
Besides, some of the interesting items to be auctioned include the following: an ivory fan carved with episode from Samkok - the Romance of three kingdoms, a cinnabar dish decorated with Taoist Emblems & floral vine scrolls, a tortoise shell jarlet carved with confronting dragons among cloud, etc.
All lots will be on view at the same venue on February 2 — 6, 2009 at 10 a.m. — 5 p.m. Illustrated catalogues will be available at the Preview Room.
