“Autistic child” is being heard often lately, they are called “Special kids” the parents prefer them be just normal , though. This issue is being attentively discussed among the young couples who are preparing for the coming little member.
To learn and understand “Autism” and living with the “Autistic”, “TRIA” Integrative Wellness and Spa with Piyavate Hospital jointly organizing “ the Integrative Medicine for Autism Conference” during 21 — 23 February 2009 to be held at the TRIA Hall of “TRIA” Integrative Wellness and Spa. Public are welcome without any charge on Saturday 21st from 09.00 to 17.30 hrs. and half day on Sunday 22nd from 09.00 to 12.00 hrs. With distinguished guest speakers, those are;
Dr. Jeff Bradstreet, MD, MD(H), FAAFP founder, Medical research Director, President of the ICDRC, DANI Doctor. He is involved in autism related outcome studies and environmental research with the University of Washington and UCLA and serves as a adjunt Professor of Child Development and Neuroscience at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. He is internationally recognized as a lecturer and researcher in autism. His son, Matthew, is recovering from autism with the combined help of biomedical and behavioral interventions. Dr. Bradstreet will be the guest of honor speaker on Clinical relevant biomarker in autism spectrum disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Dr.Torsak Tip-pairote, M.D. Chief of staff at the Integrative Wellness and Spa “TRIA” will speak on Functional/ Integrative medicine and autism.
Ms.Kobkul Sudsuansri, Espiard,Ph.D Laboratoire Philippe Auguste, France will speak on Porphyrinuria in childhood autistic disorder: implication for environmental toxicity and using porphyrinuria , neopterins and oxidative stress tests in Chelation Therapy.
