Mr. Pramote Sajjarak (5th from left), Khon Kaen provincial governor; Mr. Kan Trakulhoon (4th left), President and CEO, Siam Cement Group; and Mr. Chaovalit Ekabut (3rd from left), President of SCG Paper recently chaired the official opening of SCG PAPER’s latest state-of-the-art and environmental friendly production line in Khon Kaen. The Bt7.3 billion facility will produce uncoated print and writing paper, including pound and offset paper for high quality printing (Offset Pro) and premium quality paper for copying machine. The product has superior whiteness, opacity, smoothness and strength. The facility will have total production capacity of 200,000 tonnes per year, part of which will be exported to the regional market. Located at Phoenix Pulp and Paper facility in Khon Kaen, the project deploys advanced technology that helps save natural resources while reducing raw materials and wastes.
