Economic and Cyber Crime Division (ECOTEC) along with a team from the police force cracked down on major merchandisers of apparel and toys that infringe Ultraman copyrights , and who had been selling illegal Ultraman products in markets like Bo Bae, China Town and Sampeng. The crackdown led to the confiscation of a total of over 5 million Baht worth of merchandise. This is the first legal enforcement action taken by the license owner of Ultraman - Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd., through its appointed attorney Baker & McKenzie Ltd., to handle legal actions against those that violate license and copyright laws.
