Kerry Logistics, one of the leading company and the fastest growing logistics, express, freight-forwarding and transportation companies in Asia, today held the Grand Opening for its new ‘free zone’ warehouse service at its Kerry Laem Cha Bang Logistics Centre (KLCLC) centre. Today’s opening of Kerry’s Free Zone Service is the latest in a series of ongoing growth initiatives for the company in Thailand.
Featuring more than 10,000 sqm of Indoor and Outdoor space with fully facilities, Kerry’s new Free Zone service is as flexible as it is spacious. In total, it makes up nearly 50% of the total area of Kerry Laem Cha Bang Logistics Centre (KLCLC) and can handle up to 2,796 pallets at a time. Moreover the advantage of location is nearby Laem cha bang seaport and Manufacturing Industry.
KLCLC will allow importers to bring goods of foreign origin into Thailand without paying customs duties and taxes, pending their eventual processing, transshipment or re-exportation. The free zone warehouse facility acts as a hub and spoke that can handle things such as the processing of shipments and reassembly and doing Value-added services before linking them up for delivery on Kerry’s KART road network or by ship or air to outside countries.
