Siam Commercial Bank President Khun Kannikar Chalitaporn presided over an award ceremony presenting certificates to more than 50 young entrepreneurs completing the 6th annual SCB Young Entrepreneur Program (SCB-YEP). The program was organized in a bid to deepen professional business management skills among the next generation of SME entrepreneurs in order to help their businesses succeed. The program is in line with the Bank's policy of strengthening SME businesses, which serve as the backbone of the Thai economic system. The more than 50 participants came from every region of Thailand, with backgrounds in diverse business segments such as import and export businesses, property development, electrical appliances, packaging, building materials, rice millers and traders, and car dealers.
