Dr. Sethaput Suthiwart-Narueput, Executive Vice President and Chief Economist, SCB Economic Intelligence Center, recently accepted Best Emerging Market Bank (Best Bank) in Thailand (4th year) and Best Foreign Exchange Bank in Thailand (2nd year) awards from Global Finance, the world's leading finance magazine. Award assessment is based on assets growth, market share, service quality, innovation, and other indicators. SCB is already the most-awarded Thai bank in the Best Bank category in 2009, having received numerous awards from seven local and international institutions.
