Both Standard & Poor's investment-grade and speculative-grade bond prices followed equity markets down on Wednesday. The investment-grade composite index spread widened one basis point to 225 basis points (bps). The speculative-grade spread jumped 9 bps to 697 bps. By rating, the 'AA' spread tightened one basis point to 149 bps, while 'A' and 'BBB' were flat at 189 bps and 281 bps, respectively. The 'BB' composite climbed 5 bps to 500 bps, 'B' widened 9 bps to 675 bps, and 'CCC' expanded 4 bps to 1,101 bps.
