Bangkok Bank and Chulalongkorn University welcome China’s Ambassador to Thailand to Chinese policy seminar

Bangkok--11 Nov--BBL Bangkok Bank Chairman of the Board of Directors Chatri Sophonpanich (2nd from right), Executive Chairman Kosit Panpiemras (right) and Chulalongkorn University’s Chinese Studies Center Professor Dr. Kien Theerawit (2nd from Left) welcome the Ambassador for the Peoples Republic of China, H.E. Guan Mu (centre) who delivered a special talk on ‘Chinese policy on economic development and Chinese study opportunities in Thailand.’ This talk was one of several topics as part of the wider ‘Enhancement of Thai-China relations for Thailand’s development’ seminar series, co-arranged by Bangkok Bank and the Chinese Studies Center, Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University. Bangkok Bank is the first and only financial institute from Thailand which has been approved by the Chinese government to operate as a local bank in China, which will be under the name Bangkok Bank China (BBC).
