Thai bourse honors Dr. Art-Ong Jumsai Na Ayudhya for education development

Bangkok--18 Nov--SET The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Foundation has honored Dr. Art-Ong Jumsai Na Ayudhya, Chief Administrator of Sathya Sai School, Lopburi, for his outstanding work in education development as well as his sacrifice, morality and ethics, which is a good role model for society. “Today, SET Foundation has recognized Dr. Art-Ong with the ‘Professor Sangvian Indaravijaya Foundation Award, supported by SET Foundation,’ for the year 2009. This is the third year that the Professor Sangvian Indaravijaya Foundation helps choose the outstanding person to receive the award from SET Foundation,” revealed SET Foundation board member and Secretary Patareeya Benjapolchai. “Dr. Art-Ong brought his knowledge and sacrificed his efforts in creating innovative learning. He had developed Sathya Sai School to be a model in the teaching of humanities values, and his method has spread to 53 countries. This support from SET Foundation will help promote his education mission and benefit society,” said Ms. Patareeya. “The Professor Sangvian Indaravijaya Foundation has consistently supported education, by giving scholarships to over 270 students thus far, plus funding for research, theses, academic seminars and other activities. The award committee had evaluated the many outstanding candidates very carefully and transparently, and this year, it unanimously chose Dr. Art-Ong. The committee had seen the tangible results of his work and his sacrifice in initiating and developing the learning system of Sathya Sai School. He also has morality and ethics and is a good role model for society,” noted the Professor Sangvian Indaravijaya Foundation Chairman Tawee Noonpukdee. The recognition of Dr. Art-Ong’s outstanding work will encourage him in developing his work for the educational progress of society and the country,” Chairman Tawee continued.
