American International Assurance Company, Limited — Thailand (AIA Thailand) launches “AIA Financial Health Check Troop”, a newly-crafted marketing promotion activity, with an aim to aggressively promote better knowledge and understanding of the benefits of comprehensive financial planning to the public. With an objective to assist the Thai people to accomplish their significant financial goals and needs in the future, the campaign will release its troop starting from November 18, 2009 until the end of March 2010.

“As part of the activity, a game for financial planning simulation has been developed for participants to try testing their financial understanding from model scenarios that are selected from actual events of everyday lives. The game serves as a lesson to evaluate the player’s general knowledge and how well-prepared they are financially to enter the phase of a happy retirement in the future.”
The “AIA Financial Health Check” is a process that involves identifying an individual customer’s financial status, establishing priorities, and assessing available options to help customers achieve their significant goals and needs in the future. The campaign is also designed for customers to better undertake unexpected challenges and risks. The financial health check covers 4 areas including 1.) Family income protection 2.) Education fund 3.) Retirement saving and 4.) Accident and health expenses provision.
The “AIA Financial Health Check Troop” will visit people in 22 provinces throughout the country.
