Siam Commercial Bank PCL (SCB) will introduce new uniform designs for its upcoming 103th anniversary as the first Thai bank. The bank's unique purple uniforms will feature a new darker shade to project a smart and modern look befitting professional financial experts. Discussing the new uniforms, SCB President Kannikar Chalitaporn said, “We are constantly enhancing our products, services, and image. Recently, we have undertaken the Refreshing Our Brand project— including the new uniform design — to strengthen our unique image with a modern look befitting professional financial experts. As SCB will celebrate its 103th anniversary next year, all SCB staff will play a crucial role as brand ambassadors taking care of customers and catering to their financial needs. The professional look will clearly highlight SCB's leadership as the Premier Universal Bank in Thailand.”
The new SCB uniforms have both formal and casual styles to suit special occasions and daily operations. Uniforms for women feature blouses in white and purple with bodhi leaf prints representing the SCB logo, smart blazers in dark purple, and pinkish purple mosaic scarves. For men, there will be a grayish black suit and pants, and necktie in purple and navy blue with diagonal purple strips. In addition, purple polo T-shirts will be worn for active operations and casual occasions. SCB staff nationwide will wear the new uniform for the first time in early 2010, marking the bank's 103th anniversary.
