On Friday 20, November 2009, dusitD2 baraquda pattaya hosted an extraordinary evening.
The evening commenced with a fabulous five-course Italian dinner specially prepared by Chef Allan Ho who worked his culinary magic offering guests the tastiest foods complimented by exquisite wines from the piedmont region.
To top it off, the play “Pinocchio” - was presented as it was an Italian wine dinner after all. As the play needed to be related to Italy Pinocchio was a natural choice. Just for fun, and to do something a little different the hotel decided to take a chance in doing the play as, yes!, a modern-Pinocchio.
The guests were impressed with everything and expressed, “At the recent Pinochio dinner I was pleased to invite a table of friends to enjoy not only the superb culinary delights of Chef Allan, the free flow of wines from Italy but the acting and performing skills of some of the staff at D2 who entertained us with the first part of the Pinnochio Classic Story in a modern and very different style. We are already booked to see the next installment in January. ”
