EXIM Thailand appointed Mr. Somporn Chitphentom, Executive Vice President, as Senior Executive Vice President overseeing marketing and branch administration, effective on December 1, 2009.
Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) appointed Mr. Somporn Chitphentom, Executive Vice President, as EXIM Thailand’s Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Business Promotion Departments and Branch Administration Department which engage in marketing strategy development, export consulting, export credit and short-term export credit insurance promotion, preliminary credit analysis, debt collection, annual credit line review and branch and sub-branch management. The appointment became effective on December 1, 2009.
Mr. Somporn obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Boston University and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, U.S.A. He began his career at EXIM Thailand in 1993. His former responsibilities encompass various departmental functions including business development, marketing, export credit insurance, international investment promotion, strategy development and public sector relations.
