Thai bourse lists IFS Capital on August 10

Bangkok--9 Aug--SET IFS Capital (Thailand) PCL will list on The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in Financials Group, Financials and Securities Sector and start trading on August 10, after raising THB162 million (approx. USD5.06 million), using “IFS” as its trading symbol, revealed SET Chief Marketing Officer Vichate Tantiwanich. IFS engages in factoring business focusing on providing short term loan to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bangkok and its suburbs, including industrial estates, for over 20 years. Moreover, the company also provides financial leases and hire purchase services. IFS Capital (Singapore) Co., Ltd., a company listed on Singapore Exchange, is the firm’s major shareholder. (According to the company’s prospectus) IFS has a total paid-up registered capital of THB470 million (approx.USD14.68 million), consisting of 350 million existing common shares and 120 million capital increase shares, with a par value of THB1.00 each. At its IPO on July 30 and August 2- 3, IFS raised THB162 million (approx. USD5.06 million) by offering 117.5 million shares to the general public and 2.5 million shares to its directors and/or executives at THB1.35 per share. The funds will be used for expanding credit services and working capital. KT ZMICO Securities Co., Ltd. was its financial advisor. IFS’s IPO at THB1.35 per shares was from book building of institutional investors. IFS’s P/E ratio, at the IPO price was at 7.27 (calculated from expected annualized net profits for 2010 and 470 million shares). IFS ’s dividend payment policy is to pay no less than 50% of net profits after taxes and legal reserves. IFS’s major shareholders after the IPO are IFS Capital Holdings (Thailand) and IFS Capital (Singapore) Co., Ltd., which hold 36.64% and 36.49%, respectively.
