During 9 ? 12 Jun, the monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Laos into Tokin Bay. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rains are forecast over Thailand. The strong wind and waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. For the upper Gulf of Thailand, the waves are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 13 ? 15 Jun, the monsoon trough will be weakening while the southwest monsson remains over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will weakening. Less rain is likely over the upper country while isolated heavy rain remains in the upper North, the upper Northeast, the East and the South (westcoast). The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will moderates about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. For the upper Gulf of Thailand, the waves are 1- 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
During 11 ? 14 Jun, the low pressure over the upper China Sea is expected to intensify and expected to move to Tokin Bay and upper Vietnam while the active low pressure cell over the upper Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify. This causes the southwest monsoon remain over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf until 12 Jun.
