ข้อความสารของนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กรณีพระบาทสมเด็จพระนโรดม สีหนุ พระวรราชบิดา สวรรคต
ตามที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระนโรดม สีหนุ พระวรราชบิดาแห่งราชอาณาจักรกัมพูชา ได้สวรรคตเมื่อวันที่ ๑๕ ตุลาคม ๒๕๕๕ นั้น นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีและรองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของกัมพูชา เมื่อวันที่ ๑๕ ตุลาคม ๒๕๕๕ ดังนี้
๑. ข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจของนายกรัฐมนตรีถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีของกัมพูชา

“Excellency,
I have learned with deep sorrow of the passing away of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk, the King-Father and beloved former King of Cambodia, who dedicated his entire life’s work to the independence and unity of Cambodia and to the welfare and happiness of the Cambodian people. His Majesty’s extraordinary leadership, resilience and insightfulness were exemplary, and served him well in his vital role in leading Cambodia through the challenges and uncertainties of the past to the present success and prosperity.
His Majesty’s outstanding contributions to the development of the Kingdom of Cambodia and his devotion to peace, stability and reconciliation in the region and beyond made him a revered international leader. His Majesty will always be remembered, respected and admired by all.
In this moment of sadness and bereavement, allow me, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, to extend to the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia our profound condolences for this great loss.
