เนื่องในโอกาสวันชาติของสาธารณรัฐโมซัมบิกในวันที่ ๒๕ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๗ พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ และนายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ปฏิบัติหน้าที่รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงประธานาธิบดีโมซัมบิก และรัฐมตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโมซัมบิกดังนี้

On the occasion of 39th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Mozambique, I have the honour to extend, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the Thai people, my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for the prosperity of the Republic of Mozambique and her people.
Our two countries have always enjoyed close ties and mutual understanding. I therefore look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to further consolidate our cordial relations for the benefit of our two countries and peoples. As the Royal Thai Government is working toward elevating our partnership with Africa in all aspects, especially in the economic and development cooperation, I am certain that the close ties between Thailand and Mozambique will be further strengthened in the coming years for the mutual benefits of our countries and peoples.
