เนื่องในวันที่ ๑๗ กุมภาพันธ์ เป็นวันประกาศอิสรภาพของสาธารณรัฐคอซอวอ พลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และพลเอก ธนะศักดิ์ ปฏิมาประกร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสดังกล่าว ดังนี้

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, I wish to convey to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations and warm wishes on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo.
As we approach the second year of the establishment of our diplomatic relations, it is my intention to develop our ties of friendship and promote our cooperation, especially on trade, investment, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

I am pleased to extend my sincere felicitations to Your Excellency and the Kosovar people on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo.
Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in ๒๐๑๓, there has always been good potential for cooperation between Thailand and Kosovo, especially in trade and investment, culture and tourism. In this regard, I look forward to working with Your Excellency to develop our bilateral ties.
