ตามที่ได้เกิดเหตุการณ์คนร้ายขับรถบรรทุกพุ่งชนฝูงชนที่ไปชมดอกไม้ไฟเนื่องในวันชาติฝรั่งเศส ที่บริเวณ Promenade des Anglais เมืองนีซ เมื่อคืนวันที่ ๑๔ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๙ จนทำให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตกว่า ๘๐ คน และบาดเจ็บกว่า ๑๐๐ คน นั้น
พลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายดอน ปรมัตถ์วินัย รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนาย Manuel Valls นายกรัฐมนตรีฝรั่งเศส และนาย Jean-Marc Ayrault รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศฝรั่งเศส ดังนี้

I was shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic event in Nice which resulted in many casualties and the loss of innocent lives.
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to convey to Your Excellency, and through you, our deepest condolences and sympathies to the victims and their families that have been affected by this tragic incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Thailand joins the international community in strongly condemning the heinous and cowardly terrorist attacks, perpetrated, resulting in the unacceptable loss of innocent lives and countless injuries.

On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and people of Thailand, I would like to express my profound condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the dreadful event in Nice on the French National Day. During this bereaving time, the Thai people join France in mourning. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all the people of France.
Thailand strongly condemns this cowardly terrorist attacks and joins hands with the French Government and the international community in the fight against the threats from this inhuman act of the terrorism.
