เนื่องในวันที่ ๒๙ ต.ค. ๒๕๕๗ เป็นวันชาติของสาธารณรัฐตุรกี พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และพลเอกธนะศักดิ์ ปฏิมาประกร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสดังกล่าว ดังนี้

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I have the pleasure to extend to Your Excellency and the people of the Republic of Turkey our sincere congratulations and warmest wishes on the auspicious occasion of the Republic Day.
I am pleased that the relationship and longstanding ties between Thailand and Turkey have always been close and cordial. This relationship has been reinforced by our extensive people-to-people contacts, with tens of thousands of tourists visiting Thailand and Turkey each year, as well as the efforts of our governments. I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to broaden and enhance our ties at both bilateral and multilateral fora for our mutual benefits and prosperity, especially as we move towards realizing our potential to be regional partners for one another and elevating our relations to a strategic partnership.

It was a pleasure to meet Your Excellency in New York at the 69th United Nations General Assembly last month and to exchange views on a number of topics, including moving forward our bilateral and multilateral cooperation, which was very fruitful and productive.
