The COTTON USA Bear Ambassadors includes 27 unique 100% U.S. cotton bears created in collaboration with the 27 COTTON USA licensees as a campaign to symbolize environmentally friendly natural comfort and softness alongside the benefits of cotton natural fibers and materials. As a part of this continuous campaign, “One Fine Day with Pae Arak” included a fun day with teen singer and pop idol Pae — Arak Amornsupasiri who helped to host an assortment of inspiring and informative activities for the Rajvithi Home for Girls, including a hands-on painting workshop for the girls, who got to create their own t-shirt artwork under the concept “A Beautiful World”, an entertaining mini-concert, and many other activities. Mr. Kraipob Pangsapa, COTTON USA Thailand Representative, said, “The COTTON USA Bear Ambassador campaign is a collection of 27 unique and creative bears made from 100% U.S. cotton designed to represent the soft comfort and benefits of cotton natural fibers which COTTON USA aims to provide to Thai consumers. To kick off the campaign and help raise awareness amongst consumers, we exhibited the COTTON USA Bear Ambassadors where visitors could “hug” each of the bears and experience the natural comfort and softness of 100% U.S. cotton firsthand. The exhibits were located at the Eden Hall, 2nd floor, Central World Shopping Center and on 2nd floor near the glass elevators at the Mall Bangkhae. The COTTON USA Bear Ambassadors were also available at 27 clothing, house ware and textile brand licensee counters that carry the COTTON USA Mark of Quality, in over 2,266 spots in leading department stores countrywide including Central, Zen, Robinson, The Mall, The Emporium, and Siam Paragon.” “With the end of the campaign approaching on July 31, COTTON USA decided to continue to provide awareness of U.S. cotton’s 100% natural comfort as well as its many other benefits to the Rajvithi Home for Girls orphanage, so we began to organize our next activity, “One Fine Day with Pae Arak”. We were honored to have Pae — Arak Amornsupasiri, one of today’s hottest singers and teen idols, to represent COTTON USA in presenting the entire COTTON USA Bear Ambassador collection, consisting of all 27 bears, to the young orphans of the Rajvithi Home for Girls. We planned lots of fun activities for the girls to enjoy throughout the day, including an exclusive mini-concert, and a special workshop where the girls could paint their own T-shirts under the inspiring concept of “A Beautiful World”. At the end of the day, Pae — Arak also presented his personal donation of 20,000 Baht to the orphanage for their future use,” Mr. Kraipob continued. Mrs. Suwanna Pinkaew, Custodian of Rajvithi Home for Girls, commented, “Children generally want nothing more than love and affection from their parents, but when some of them are deprived of these comforts, it is the duty for all of us to step in and complete these feelings by sharing love and care to them. On behalf of Rajvithi Home for Girls, I would like to thank COTTON USA for this heartwarming day. I feel delighted that, in addition to the love and joy shared to them today, the kids also get a very special gift of downy, adorable COTTON USA Bears in comfy T-shirt and had a great time doing many enjoyable activities. This kind of expression makes them feel that they are never left out in this society because everyone is giving them tender love like their real parents. It gives them the willpower to live strong and ready to become desirable grown-ups in the future.” Pae — Arak Amornsupasiri, said, “It was a great honor for me to be a part of this experience with COTTON USA and the Rajvithi Home for Girls Orphanage, especially the workshop activity where the girls got to paint their own T-shirts under the theme of A Beautiful World. It was a new experience for me to help teach them to paint and as well as being great fun, this activity really helped the girls to express their creativity. The workshop was also greatly informative in teaching them about how to care for our world and choose environmentally friendly products — such as comfortable clothing and goods made from 100% natural fibers, which are ideal for the hot weather in Thailand and are naturally degradable. In addition, along with being fun and informative, the workshop also taught the girls how to work together and the importance of good teamwork and unity. I would like to thank COTTON USA for organizing this fun and informative activity and would be happy to participate in other COTTON USA activities in the future.” The 27 leading brands of 100% cotton apparel and home textiles that contain at least 50% U.S. cotton in their products and are participants in the “COTTON USA Bear Ambassador” campaign include - Enfant, Absorba, Little Wacoal, Trombone, BSC Kiddo, ELLE Kids, Lee Kids, Puppet, Blue Corner, Portland, Classify, Jockey, Hush Puppies, Guy Laroche, Rosso, Carson, Arrow, S’ Fare, 4x4 Man, Casualist, John Henry, Lee, Wrangler, Santas, Picasso, Linen House, and Cannon.
