Big C celebrates over 7 million Big Card members and opening of 3 new storesthrough “shop for free” campaign to enhance loyalty and thank customers
Mr. Kudatara Nagaviroj, Director of Corporate Affairs of Big C Supercenter PCL, reveals that “Amidst a highly competitive retail environment, Big C is now focusing on enhancing differentiation and customer loyalty through strong leadership on low price and maximum value, customer benefits and additional services. As the number of Big Card members has surpassed 7 million, and as we have just opened new Big C Supercenter in Loei and Satun and Big C Market in Rayong, we are running a “shop for free” campaign to thank our loyal customers and mark these special occasions.”
“From today until 23 August 2012, every 500th customer of each store who uses Big Card with their purchase will receive a congratulatory message at the end of their receipts. They can then bring the receipt to claim back the fully amount of their purchase (up to 1,000 baht) at customer service counter. This campaign is specially designed to thank our loyal customers.”
“This campaign started since 10 August and so far over 2,500 customers have shopped for free. We expect over 10,000 customers nationwide to benefit from this campaign”.
“On our expansion progress, during the first half of August, we have opened 2 more Big C Supercenter in Loei and Satun and 1 more Big C Market in Rayong. All new stores feature energy-saving buildings and focus on creating employment for local residence with priority given to existing Big C employees who wish to transfer back to their homeland as well as the contribution to the development of local community” Kudatara said.
