Emirates Gives Junior Golfers Coaching Master Class at Thailand Open 2012
Kiradech Aphibarnrat hosts a session for talented juniors from Thailand Golf Association
Emirates, the Official Airline of Thailand Open 2012, provided an inspiring golf clinic for a group of potential stars of the future led by Thailand’s own Kiradech Aphibarnrat at Suwan Golf & Country Club.
A keen group of junior golfers from the Thailand Golf Association participated in a one-hour clinic with Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who demonstrated shots, shared technical tips and fielded questions from the youngsters who quizzed him on how to make the grade as a professional.
Kiradech was impressed with the skills of the next generation of Thailand golf talent and reinforced the importance of discipline to the group as he believes this is a critical factor for success.
Each of the children was delighted to get personal advice from one of Thailand’s most recognised young golfers and they were inspired by a player who achieved much success at a young age, twice winning the Junior World Golf Championship in his age group.
In Asia, in addition to Golf Thailand Open, Emirates is the Official Airline of WGC-HSBC Champions (China), Barclays Singapore Open, the Japan Open Golf Championship (Men’s, Ladies and Seniors) and the Malaysian Open, while it extends its support of golf by allowing passengers to check in a set of golf clubs free of charge — in addition to their normal checked baggage allowance — in any class of service on all of its flights.
