The Okura Prestige Bangkok's La Pâtisserie is celebrating its heritage and the season of Koyo – the time of colourful autumn leaves in Japan – with beautifully decorated Kokeshi-style doll cakes.
Based on the cute, simple wooden Kokeshi dolls carved as toys for children in north-eastern Japan for more than 150 years, the delicious sponge-based Kokeshi doll cakes are dressed in wonderful kimono and include highlight flavours such as zesty Yuzu Clafoutis, delicious Cream Chantilly and delightful Concerto White Chocolate. A great choice as a seasonal gift, the Kokeshi doll cakes are available from now until the end of the year.
Kokeshi-style doll cakes are available at La Patisserie from Mondays – Fridays, 09:00 - 17:00, 1 October – 30 December 2019, priced at Baht 300.
