Come and celebrate Chinese New Year with Kung Hei Fat Choy Set Menu at Hong Kong Fisherman. The set menu is thoughtfully created by experienced Hong Kong chefs using only the finest ingredients. It consists of nine delectable dishes with auspicious meanings that are believed to bring good luck and prosperity into life. The first dish is "Rainbow Raw Salmon & Hokkaido Scallop Platter". Fish are considered a symbol of luck. According to Chinese tradition, diners must toss the ingredients as high as possible to bring in good luck and wealth and sprinkle the dish with sesame seeds and peanuts. The next dish is "Braised Shredded Abalone Soup with Fresh Fish Maw, Shredded Chicken & Chinese Mushroom". This full-flavored soup is packed with all the good stuff and abalone are known to be a symbol of abundance. Other dishes featured in the set menu are "Peking Duck", which symbolizes advancement in career, and "Braised Dried Scallop with Chinese Mushroom & Black Sea Moss in Oyster Sauce". The set menu also features healthy dishes which customers can choose either "Sauteed Prawns with Celery & Cashew Nuts" or "Deep-fried Mashed Taro Stuffed with Prawn". There are also "Deep-fried Crispy Chicken", "Steamed Jade Perch in Soya Sauce", "Braised E-fu Noodles with Crab Meat", which noodles represent longevity, and "Sweetened Red Bean Cream with Black Sesame Dumpling & Sago", a delightful Hong Kong-style dessert to finish off the meal which symbolizes the warmth of family.
The Kung Hei Fat Choy Set Menu is only 11,888 baht for a table of 8-10 persons. There is also Abundance Set Menu for a smaller group of 4-6 persons which is only 5,222 baht. What's more, there are seven varieties of auspicious dim sum available, with prices starting at 85 – 99 baht. These Chinese New Year specials are available during January 24 – 31, 2020.
