Amanda Lee received her music degrees (D.M.A., M.M., and B.M .in Piano Performance) from West Virginia University (WVU). She graduated with a Diploma of Music from University-College Sedaya International (formerly Sedaya College ) in Malaysia . She also earned a Licentiate of Trinity College of Music ( London ) and Advanced Certificate in Piano Performance from The Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music in 1997 and 1996 respectively. Amanda is a recipient of numerous awards. She received a Performance Grant Award from WVU. She was named Outstanding Senior by the WVU Foundation in 2000 and Young Artist Concerto Competition Winner in 2001. During her graduate studies, she was the recipient of the International Peace Scholarship granted by the Philanthropical Educational Organization Foundation and Music Teachers National Association Student Achievement Recognition (StAR) Award. She was also named WVU Minority Teaching Fellow and Southern Regional Education Board Scholar. Recently, she has been selected as the winner of the 2007 PianoTexas International Academy and Festival (in collaboration with Van Cliburn Foundation and Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra) Teachers Concerto Competition.
