Fortinet Expands Database Vulnerability Assessment with Support for Sun Microsystems’ MySQL Enterprise
In addition, Fortinet has announced its FortiDB? family of database security appliances now provides vulnerability assessment (VA) support for MySQL Enterprise? from Sun Microsystems. MySQL reduces the total cost of ownership for customers by lowering hardware expenditures and reducing administration, engineering and support costs. Through the MySQL Enterprise Connection Alliance (MECA) partner program, Fortinet extends its database protection for MySQL Enterprise’s growing subscriber base and provides a stronger line of security support with the FortiDB appliance for vulnerability assessment. With this latest certification, FortiDB now supports heterogeneous environments within MySQL Enterprise, in addition to Oracle, DB2, Sybase and SQL Server.
