KTC Joins Hands with 3 Banks to Offer 4-Year Debentures During November 2nd-4th. With 5.5% Coupon Rate Payable Quarterly in Year 1-3, 6.0% in Year 4.
Mr. Niwatt Chittalarn, President and Chief Executive Officer of “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited disclosed that “The company joined hands with 3 banks; CIMB Thai PCL., Thai Military Bank PCL. and Siam City Bank PCL. to offer debentures with 4 year maturity to individual and institutional investors. The interest rate is 5.5% in the first to third year and 6.0% in the fourth year, payable quarterly. The minimum subscription amount is 100,000 Baht with an incremental of every 100,000 Baht. The subscription period is from November 2nd to November 4th, 08.30 am. — 03.30 pm.”
“The debentures are unsubordinated and unsecured with a debenture holder’s representative and issued in a registered certificate. The proceeds of this debenture issuance will be used to restructure existing short-term debt to long-term debentures, and as working capital to support the company’s existing and future businesses. TRIS Rating Co., Ltd. has ranked our debentures favourably at BBB+.
“KTC made a net profit of 202 million Baht in the first half of this year and total membership base of 2.15 million accounts, mainly consisted of more than 1.63 million of credit cards. The net credit card receivables was 35,028 million Baht while the number of “KTC CASH” customers was more than 514,000 accounts. The net “KTC CASH” receivables was 10,979 million Baht.”
