ด้วยในวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2558 เป็นวันครบรอบสมณภิเษกสมเด็จพระสันตะปาปาฟรันซิสและ

วันชาติของนครรัฐวาติกัน พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงพระคาร์ดินัล Pietro Parolin เลขาธิการสันตะสำนัก ดังนี้

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the Thai people, I have the honour to extend to Your Eminence my cordial felicitations and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of the Anniversary of the Pontificate of His Holiness Pope Francis and the National Day of the Vatican City.

Thailand and the Vatican City share and uphold common values which encompass, among others, our firm commitments to fighting against slavery and human trafficking. I would like to reaffirm Thailand’s continued support for Your Eminence’s efforts in promoting equitable development and global peace for the benefits of all mankind.
