Dear Prime Minister,
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to extend my sincere congratulations to you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
I believe that under your dynamic leadership, the United Kingdom will continue to progress towards greater prosperity, and that the longstanding partnership between Thailand and the UK will continue to flourish for the mutual benefit of our two countries and peoples.
In this connection, I am delighted that cooperation between Thailand and the UK has gained momentum in recent years, as marked by the exchanges of high-level visits between our two sides. In particular, the candid conversation we had during your latest visit to Thailand reflected the growing dynamism of our partnership, and the great potential that lies ahead for our comprehensive relations.
On this note, I wish to reaffirm the Royal Thai Government’s determination to work closely and constructively with the British Government
to promote our collaboration at the bilateral, regional, and international levels. In this regard, Thailand, as the current Chair of ASEAN, is very much looking forward to welcoming you to the 35th ASEAN Summit, and as a keynote speaker at the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in Bangkok in November 2019.
