I have learned with deep sorrow of the devastating earthquake which has caused loss of lives and casualties as well as damages to properties in Yushu County and nearby areas.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Thailand, I wish to express my deepest sympathy and profound condolences to you and, through you, to the people of China, particularly those who have lost their family members and friends in this tragic incident. My heart also goes to those who have been injured and I wish them speedy recovery.
The Royal Thai Government is ready to provide support and assistance to our friends in China through close co-ordination between our authorities concerned.
