ไชน่า บิสิเนส นิวส์ รายงานว่า บริษัท ไชน่า ปิโตรเคมิคอล คอร์ป หรือซิโนเปค กรุ๊ป ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทกลั่นน้ำมันรายใหญ่สุดของจีนได้ออกมาปฏิเสธคำกล่าวอ้างเรื่องการละเมิดกฎเกณฑ์การคุ้มครองสิ่งแวดล้อมตามที่องค์กรไม่แสวงผลกำไรบางหน่วยได้ระบุไว้
รายงานโดยอ้างแหล่งข่าวของเจ้าหน้าที่บริษัทระบุว่า ซิโนเปค กรุ๊ป ได้ติดต่อกับกระทรวงอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่ออธิบายเรื่องจุดยืนของบริษัทแล้ว ซึ่งโครงการรีไฟแนนซ์ของบริษัทจะไม่หยุดชะงักลงเพราะการยื่นเรื่องร้องเรียนของกลุ่มเอ็นจีโอ
-- ปิโตรไชน่า ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทผู้ผลิตน้ำมันและแก็สรายใหญ่สุดของจีน เปิดเผยว่า ท่อส่งน้ำมันดิบจีน-รัสเซียจะสามารถเปิดใช้งานอย่างเต็มที่ได้ในเดือนม.ค. 2554
บริษัทเปิดเผยว่า บริษัทได้ดำเนินการทดสอบท่อส่งน้ำมันบริเวณชายแดนระยะทาง 65.5 กิโลเมตรในวันนี้ พร้อมกับระบุว่า ท่อส่งน้ำมันดังกล่าวจะจัดส่งน้ำมันดิบได้ 250,000 ตันในเดือนพ.ย. และอีก 300,000 ตันในเดือนธ.ค.ปีนี้
-- ซีเอ็นพีซี ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทแม่ของปิโตรไชน่า รายงานผ่านทางเว็บไซต์ว่า บริษัทได้เชื่อมต่อท่อแก็สส่วนที่อยู่ทางตะวันตกและตะวันออกแห่งที่ 2 เรียบร้อยแล้ว ซึ่งท่อแก็สธรรมชาติแห่งที่ 2 นี้ คาดว่าจะเปิดใช้งานได้อย่างเต็มที่เพื่อส่งแก็สธรรมชาติจากภาคตะวันตกของจีนไปยังภาคตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ในเร็วๆนี้

1. The China Petrochemical Corp. (Sinopec Group), China's largest oil refiner, rebuffed on Wednesday accusation of environmental protection violations by some environmental protection non-governmental organizations (NGOs), according to reports by the China Business News (CBN) on Thursday.
The report quoted an unnamed company official as saying that Sinopec Group has got in touch with the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) to explain the company position, and the company's convertible-bond refinance program will not be stalled by the NGO petition.
2. PetroChina (PTR.NYSE; 601857.SH; 0857.HK), China's largest oil and gas producer, has said to bring the China-Russia crude oil pipeline into full operation in January 2011.
The company announced test run of the 65.5-kilometer cross- border pipeline on Tuesday, saying that the pipeline is to deliver 250,000 metric tons (tonnes) and 300,000 metric tons of crude oil in November and December 2010 respectively.
3. PetroChina has completed connection of its second West-to- East natural gas pipeline's western and eastern segments, reported the parent CNPC on the website on Wednesday.
This suggests the second West-to-East pipeline would soon enter full operation to pump natural gas from west China to southeast China.
4. Sinopec (SNP.NYSE; 00386.HK; 600028.SH) and Guizhou province in southwestern China inked a cooperative framework agreement for future investment and development.
