ด้วยสาธารณรัฐฟินแลนด์ได้มีการเลือกตั้งประธานาธิบดี ซึ่งนาย Sauli Niinisto ได้รับเลือกเป็นประธานาธิบดีคนใหม่ โดยจะเข้ารับตำแหน่งในวันที่ ๑ มีนาคม ศกนี้
ในการนี้ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐฟินแลนด์ ดังนี้
