เนื่องด้วยกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้รับข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีจากรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศอิหร่านเนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา ๕ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๗ พลเอก ธนะศักดิ์ ปฏิมาประกร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารตอบขอบคุณไปยังฝ่ายอิหร่าน ดังนี้

I have the honour to express my sincere appreciation for Your Excellency’s kind message of congratulations on the occasion of the 87th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the King and the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand.

I have further the honour to express my readiness to work closely with Your Excellency to enhance the long-standing relations and cooperation between Thailand and Iran in all fields. In return, I would like to convey my best wishes to Your Excellency and, through you, to the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran for happiness, successes and prosperity.
